Kinderpedia (Romania) Partners with Maple Bear & Eastern Europe (Canada)
03 Aug 2020 - Kinderpedia, a management and communication services platform dedicated to kindergartens and schools, has signed a partnership with Maple Bear Central & Eastern Europe, part of the largest global Canadian bilingual educational franchise network - Maple Bear Global Schools.
Kinderpedia thus becomes the unique operating system of Maple Bear CEE, bringing an innovative digital tool that supports both the offline and online learning process, in the new context of blended education. Kinderpedia says it reduces teacher’s administrative time by 40%, significantly improves parental involvement through a secure and easy-to-use interface, and offers school managers a complete perspective on all activities and communication.
Kinderpedia brings together, on the same digital platform, all the administrative tools necessary for an efficient organization of the school activities. From check-in with QR code to take students’ attendance or instant access to the daily schedule and grade book to remote video teaching, homework module, and quick messaging, the platform provides the digital infrastructure required to transform the education system in Romania, as well as in Europe. It also includes functions of automatic invoicing, financial management and online payment of school tuition fees, by integration with electronic payment systems.
“We chose Kindepedia as the strategic technology partner for Maple Bear in the region, after thorough consideration of the available solutions. The digital platform helps us provide a superior standard of organization, communication, and transparency across our kindergartens and schools. As we aim to build a network of 50 Maple Bear centers in 22 countries in the region, uniformity and efficiency are key to support all our school owners. Kinderpedia’s management and financial modules will become our operating system, allowing our owners and their teams to focus more on the education side than on the administrative tasks,” said Yann Bidan, General Manager of Maple Bear Central and Eastern Europe.
“Beyond practical functionalities, Kinderpedia’s communication and extra modules offer the possibility to our Maple Bear owners to have their teachers and parents enjoy all the benefits of connected education,” he added.
The first Maple Bear kindergarten in Romania opened in September 2019, in Sibiu. Maple Bear CEE will open two more kindergartens in Cluj-Napoca in September 2020 and an elementary school in Sofia (Bulgaria). In Romania, Maple Bear aims to open ten units for preschool, primary and secondary education, and considers expanding to high school education.
Maple Bear plans to open 50 educational units in Central and Eastern Europe. The network is present in 22 countries, with 475 units, from kindergartens to high schools, with 45,000 students.
